Gestes répétés, cadencés par la loi des cycles engendrant perpétuelles morts et renaissances. Personnages - vies que seul le temps et les intempéries évitent de confondre.

Sculptures - Monuments éphémères dédiés à la mémoire d'un peuple d'anonymes. Contre l'oubli et voué à l'oubli. Les Sculptures de Francis Marshall vivent et se meurent. Une esthétique liée au jeu du temps, au jeu de leur monde où la matière est faite pour vivre, pour engendrer l'histoire, non la figer.

The setting displays to great effect the tableaux of Francis MARSHALL (b. 1946), consisting of doo-like creatures of stuffed stocking and tighs material and topped with humain hair.

The ghostly figures with rough facial features are trussed op withrough rope and string and take on time-less and disturbing presence as they sit around a frugal meal or in a waiting room-presumably waiting forever.
