"Sawshadow" made in 2000 (different size woodplates burnt with gasflame)

It must be a nightmare, for a tree, to dream about timberjacks and sawmills.

On the woodplates are different prints from different saws burned with fire, fixted with lack. To create arts from wood (or furniture) you have to cut the tree. The cupboardmaker cleans the woods. You never see the fingerprints from different tools he used. I show the prints from tools te say "Look here! Have a bit more respect to your forest! It could be the last!"
